How Solar Panels Power Above Hotels
Our boutique hotel in the heart of Burnley runs on solar power, generating clean energy right here in the town.
At Above Hotels, the electricity that keeps our guests comfortable comes from the sun. Solar panels generate clean energy on site, powering the hotel from right here in Burnley.
How It Works
Solar panels turn daylight into electricity. That power is used directly by the hotel, so more of the energy our guests use is generated on site rather than drawn from the national grid.
The Positive Effects
- Lower carbon footprint. Solar power produces no emissions while it generates electricity, so every stay at Above Hotels has a smaller impact on the environment.
- Clean energy made in Burnley. Generating our own power means relying less on energy from elsewhere and more on what the building itself produces.
- A better stay for guests. Guests can enjoy a luxury boutique hotel knowing it is powered by renewable energy.
- Investing in the town’s future. Sustainable buildings are part of how we are helping Burnley town centre grow for the long term.
Beyond Hotels Too
Solar power is part of our approach to hospitality. Our sister hotel, Beyond Hotels, follows the same approach.
